Automation & Workers

What Are Automation Workers?

Save time with automated daily video generation

Automation Workers are background processes that automatically create videos for you every day. Instead of manually creating each video, you set up a worker once, and it runs on a schedule to generate fresh content from your chosen sources.

This "set and forget" system allows you to maintain a consistent posting schedule on social media without daily manual effort.

How Workers Operate

Once configured, a worker enters Auto-mode. This means:

  • Daily Schedule: The worker runs automatically every day at approximately 4:00 AM UTC.

  • One Video Per Day: Each worker generates exactly one video per day.

  • Automatic Source Fetching: The worker checks your connected source (like a YouTube channel or blog) for content to repurpose.

Workers run in the background. You do not need to keep your browser open for them to generate videos.

Types of Workers

You can create different types of workers depending on your content strategy:

1. YouTube Clip Maker

This worker monitors a specific YouTube channel. It automatically takes long-form videos and converts them into engaging short-form clips (Shorts/Reels/TikToks). It handles:

  • Auto-reframing: Keeps the subject in focus for vertical (9:16) mobile viewing.

  • Summarization: Extracts the most engaging moments.

2. Article to Video

This worker turns written content into videos. You can connect a blog URL or RSS feed. The worker will:

  • Read your latest articles.

  • Generate a script and voiceover.

  • Match scenes with relevant stock footage or AI-generated visuals.

Plan Limits and Credits

Automation Workers are a powerful feature that consumes credits for each video generated.

  • Credit Usage: Every video generated by a worker deducts credits from your balance, just like a manually created video.

  • Plan Requirements: Access to Automation Workers typically requires a Pro or Enterprise subscription.

  • Active Workers: Your plan may limit the number of active workers you can have running simultaneously.

If your account runs out of credits, your workers will pause generation until you top up or your credits renew.

Common Use Cases

  • Social Media Growth: Automatically post a daily short from your podcast or YouTube channel to TikTok and Instagram.

  • Blog Promotion: Automatically turn every new blog post into a teaser video for LinkedIn or Twitter.

  • News Updates: Connect a news RSS feed to generate daily news summaries.
