ElevenLabs Voice Integration

Connect high-quality AI voices to your videos

The ElevenLabs integration allows you to use realistic, high-quality AI voices for your video voiceovers. You can choose from a library of premade voices or import your own custom voice clones from your ElevenLabs account.

You do not need an ElevenLabs account to use the premade voices available in the library. An account is only required if you want to create and import your own custom voices.

Using Premade Voices

We provide a selection of high-quality voices ready to use immediately. These voices cover various accents, tones, and languages.

  1. Open the Voice Picker in the video editor.

  2. Browse the list of available voices. You can listen to samples to find the perfect fit.

  3. Select a voice to apply it to your text elements.

Importing Custom Voices

If you have created a custom voice clone in ElevenLabs, you can import it into your project. This is perfect for maintaining brand consistency or using your own voice.

Only Professional Voice Clones (PVC) or voices that can be shared via a public link can be imported. Instant Voice Clones (IVC) may not support the sharing features required for this integration.

Step 1: Get the Share Link from ElevenLabs

  1. Log in to your ElevenLabs dashboard.

  2. Go to My Voices.

  3. Find the voice you want to import and click the More actions (three dots) button.

  4. Select Share voice.

  5. Enable sharing and copy the Share URL. The link should look like https://elevenlabs.io/app/voice-lab/share/....

Step 2: Add the Voice to Your Project

  1. Return to the video editor and open the Voice Picker.

  2. Paste the ElevenLabs share URL into the import field.

  3. Enter a name for your voice.

  4. Click Add Voice.

Once added, your custom voice will appear in your voice list and can be used just like any other voice.

Voice Cloning

Voice cloning allows you to create a digital replica of a voice from audio samples. This process is handled entirely within ElevenLabs.

To clone a voice:

  1. Go to the Voice Lab in your ElevenLabs account.

  2. Choose Instant Voice Cloning or Professional Voice Cloning.

  3. Upload your audio samples following their quality guidelines (clear audio, no background noise).

  4. Once the voice is created, follow the "Importing Custom Voices" steps above to bring it into your project.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with the integration, check the following:

  • Invalid Link: Ensure you are using the full "Share URL" from ElevenLabs, not the browser address bar URL.

  • System Busy: If you see an error message about the system being busy, wait a few moments and try again. This can happen during periods of high traffic.

  • Voice Not Found: If a shared voice is deleted from ElevenLabs, it may stop working in your project.
