Publishing & Exporting

Publishing to TikTok, Instagram & YouTube

Publish directly to your favorite platforms

Revid.ai allows you to publish your videos directly to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube without leaving the app. You can post immediately or schedule content for later using our built-in queue system.

Before you begin, ensure you have active accounts for the platforms you wish to connect. For Instagram, you must use a Business Account linked to a Facebook Page to enable third-party publishing.

Connecting Social Accounts

To start publishing, you first need to authorize Revid.ai to post on your behalf. You can connect multiple accounts for each platform.

  1. Navigate to your Account Settings page.

  2. Scroll to the Social Accounts section.

  3. Click the Connect button next to the platform you want to add (TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram).

  4. You will be redirected to the platform's authorization page. Log in and grant the requested permissions.

  5. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Revid.ai, and your account will appear in the list.

If you manage multiple brands, you can connect multiple accounts for the same platform and switch between them when publishing.

Direct Posting

Once your video is ready, you can publish it immediately from the export menu.

  1. Go to your Exports list and find the video you want to share.

  2. Click the Publish button to open the publishing modal.

  3. Select the tab for your target platform (TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram).

  4. Select the correct account from the dropdown menu if you have multiple connected.

  5. Fill in the required details for the platform (see below).

  6. Click Publish to post immediately.

Platform-Specific Settings

  • TikTok:

    • Title: Required (5-2,200 characters).

    • Privacy: Choose between Public, Mutual Follow Friends, or Self Only.

    • Interactions: Toggle Comments, Duet, and Stitch.

    • Cover Frame: Use the slider to select the exact frame for your video cover.

    • Disclosure: Toggle "Disclose Video Content" if your post contains branded content or AI-generated material.

  • YouTube:

    • Title & Description: Required. You can use the Generate button to have AI create these for you.

    • Audience: You must specify if the content is "Made for Kids".

    • Thumbnail: Upload a custom thumbnail (max 2MB). Note that YouTube Shorts do not support custom thumbnails.

  • Instagram:

    • Caption: Enter your caption (max 2,200 characters).

    • Thumbnail: Upload a custom cover image (max 5MB).

Scheduled Publishing

Instead of posting immediately, you can add videos to a queue that automatically publishes them according to your weekly schedule.

1. Set Up Your Schedule

Before adding posts to the queue, define your posting times:

  1. Go to the Queue page.

  2. Click Edit Queue or manage your weekly slots.

  3. Add specific days and times when you want your content to go live (e.g., Monday at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at 2:00 PM).

2. Add to Queue

When configuring your post in the publishing modal:

  1. Fill in all post details as usual.

  2. Instead of clicking "Publish," click Add to queue.

  3. The system will automatically assign the video to the next available slot in your schedule.

You can view, reorder, or unschedule pending posts at any time from the Queue dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection Errors: If you see an error while posting, try reconnecting your account. OAuth tokens can expire over time.

  • Instagram Issues: Ensure your Instagram account is a Business Account linked to a Facebook Page. Personal or Creator accounts may not support direct publishing via API.

  • YouTube Verification: If you cannot upload videos longer than 15 minutes, verify your YouTube account status.
