Media Library & Animations

Bring your videos to life with visuals and motion

The Media Library is your creative hub for adding visual elements to your projects. Whether you need to upload your own brand assets, find the perfect stock footage, or add a fun GIF, everything is accessible directly from the editor. Once added, you can apply dynamic animations to keep your audience engaged.

Media Sources

You can access three primary sources of media from the sidebar:

  • Uploads: Your personal library for brand logos, recorded clips, and custom images.

  • Giphy: A massive collection of GIFs and stickers to add humor or emphasis.

  • Pexels: High-quality, royalty-free stock photos and videos for professional polish.

Adding Media to Your Project

To add media to your canvas:

  1. Open your project in the Video Editor.

  2. Click the Media tab in the left sidebar.

  3. Choose your source (Uploads, Giphy, or Pexels).

  4. Drag and drop the item onto the canvas or simply click it to add it to the center of the screen.

For Giphy and Pexels, use the search bar at the top of the panel to find specific content like "office meeting" or "celebration."

Applying Animations

Static images can feel dull in a video. Use animations to add movement and professional flair.

Ken Burns Effect

The Ken Burns effect creates a smooth panning and zooming motion across a still image, making it feel like a video clip. It's perfect for showcasing photos or detailed diagrams.

  1. Select the image on your canvas.

  2. In the properties panel on the right, look for the Animations section.

  3. Select Ken Burns.

  4. Adjust the Start and End positions to control the direction and intensity of the movement.

Zoom Animation

The Zoom effect is a simpler animation that focuses attention by scaling an image in or out.

  1. Select your media item.

  2. In the Animations section, choose Zoom.

  3. Select Zoom In to draw attention to a detail, or Zoom Out to reveal the full context.

Using B-Roll

B-roll refers to supplemental footage used to visually support your narrative. You can use Pexels videos or your own uploads as B-roll to cover cuts or illustrate spoken concepts.

To use media as B-roll:

  1. Add a video or image from the Media Library.

  2. Resize it to fill the entire canvas (or use the "Fill Canvas" button if available).

  3. Place it on the timeline above your main video track or audio narration.

  4. This ensures the audience sees the B-roll while still hearing your voiceover.

Note: High-resolution videos from Pexels (4K) may take a moment to process. If you see a "Media too large" warning, try choosing a standard HD version.
